Andrew M. Fleischman, a partner at Miller Wells, PLLC, focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, real estate, leasing, finance, and general corporate law matters. He assists manufacturers, coal mining companies, service-industry businesses, and entrepreneurs in their business transactions, including formation of entities, obtaining debt and equity financing, selling and acquiring businesses, and day-to-day matters such as leases, commercial contracts, and real estate acquisitions. Well known for his work in the coal industry, Mr. Fleischman represented a group of investors in the acquisition of a large underground coal mine in  Colorado, as well as the formation, capitalization and financing of the acquiring entity. His mining industry work has included transactions exceeding a total of $600 million, encompassing mining operations in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia. Mr. Fleischman has also served as counsel to bank clients in connection with term loans and lines of credit, as well as frequent representation of borrowers in credit arrangements with lenders. He also has assisted various domestic and international companies having Kentucky-based operations with real estate and commercial matters. Mr. Fleischman received his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
