Thomas Klaus Gump is a partner in the San Francisco office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. He practices in the firm's Finance Practice Group, focusing on debt and equity finance, corporate governance, and general corporate matters. His transactional experience includes secured and unsecured commercial loans, venture debt facilities, private placement of equity securities, mergers, stock and asset purchases, joint ventures, and other business arrangements. Mr. Gump received a B.A. in Government, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University in 1989 and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1992. Following law school, Mr. Gump served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Loren A. Smith, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C.

Alicia M. McKnight is a partner in the San Francisco office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. She practices in the firm’s finance section, representing financial institutions and borrowers in a variety of domestic and international commercial matters. Her transactional experience includes project financing, asset-backed financing, other secured and unsecured commercial financing, and stock and asset purchases. Mrs. McKnight received a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law with a concentration in international law.
