Christopher R. Rahl is a member of Gordon Feinblatt LLC in Baltimore, Maryland and the Chair of Gordon Feinblatt’s Financial Services Group. He provides legal advice to a wide range of financial institutions. These include nationwide, regional, and community banks; state and federal credit unions; consumer finance companies; debt relief providers; and other regulated businesses. Chris also advises marketplace lenders and other fintech companies and provides assistance with state licensing, regulatory compliance, and the development of online lending platforms. Chris also provides advice and counsel to clients in connection with business transactions, vendor due diligence, compliance audits, and risk management. Chris is a member of the Consumer Financial Services Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association, and a member of the Committee on Consumer Credit and Financial Institutions of the Business Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association. He earned his B.A. from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County and his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law, graduating with honors.
Christopher T. Magette is a Member of Gordon Feinblatt LLC in Baltimore, Maryland. His practice focuses on representing banks and other financial institutions in connection with structuring, negotiating, documenting, and closing commercial finance transactions. He regularly counsels lenders in a variety of finance transactions, including real estate acquisition and development; construction lending; asset based financing; equipment financing; and SBA loans. Chris also has significant experience representing banks and other financial institutions in connection with commercial loan workouts, including documenting complex commercial loan restructurings and forbearance agreements, liquidating collateral and otherwise enforcing security interests, and a variety of other commercial collection matters. Additionally, Chris regularly counsels clients in a variety of real estate matters, including acquisitions, development, leasing, and financing, as well as general business matters. He earned his B.A. from Gettysburg College and his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law, graduating with honors.
