For each non-subscribing visitor to our Web site, our Web server automatically recognizes the visitor’s IP (Internet Protocal) address or domain name, but not the e-mail address.
We collect the e-mail addresses of those who voluntarily provide them to us. You may receive subscription and editorial messages from any Data Trace Publishing Company (Data Trace) publications. If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know at customerservice@datatrace.com. The e-mail addresses we collect may also be made available to third-parties who offer business-related products or services. We might use external vendors for processing our e-mail messages, but they will not be allowed to keep your e-mail address for their future use. If you do not want to receive business-related, third party e-mail offers from Data Trace, please send an e-mail to customerservice@datatrace.com and include the word “Remove” in the subject line.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
