Stephen L. Barrett, DPM, MBA, in practice in Phoenix, Arizona, is CEO of Barrett Medical Consulting, President of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons, and an adjunct professor at Midwestern University College of Health Sciences, Podiatric Medicine Program.  Dr. Barrett was the first physician to introduce minimally invasive endoscopic surgery to the foot and, in addition to multiple other surgical innovations for which he is credited, has trained more than 5,000 surgeons throughout the world in his patented techniques. Dr. Barrett maintains posts as a contributing editor for the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and as a member of the editorial boards for Podiatry Today and Practical Pain Management.
