Erin K. Simmons is a partner at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP in Denver, Colorado, where she represents borrowers and lenders in secured transactions. Prior to moving to Denver, she was an associate at Winston & Strawn LLP in New York City. Ms. Simmons is a member of the Board of Directors for the Young Americans Center for Financial Education and an active member of the Colorado Bankers Association. She has also been involved in the Association for Corporate Growth, Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Infrastructure Committee, and the Colorado Women’s Bar Association. Ms. Simmons is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology (B.S. 2002) and Fordham University School of Law (J.D. 2008).
John L. McCabe is of counsel at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP in Denver, Colorado. His practice is focused on domestic and international commercial and corporate transactions. He has lectured extensively on Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, the Uniform Consumer Credit Code and the Truth-in-Lending Act. Mr. McCabe was a member of the Commercial Financial Services and Consumer Financial Services Committees of the American Bar Association and was Chairman of the Commercial Law Division of the Business Section of the Colorado Bar Association. He was also co-chair of the Colorado Bar Association committee responsible for the initial study of Revised Article 9 in Colorado, and was actively involved in the legislative process leading to the enactment of this law. Mr. McCabe graduated from the University of Notre Dame (B.A. 1963) and Harvard Law School (J.D. 1966).
Arthur H. Travers is Professor Emeritus of Law at the University of Colorado School of Law. He has taught the Uniform Commercial Code courses at the School and has participated in numerous professional programs devoted to the Uniform Commercial Code. Professor Travers is a past Chair of the Commercial Law Division of the Business Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association. He was co-chair of the Colorado Bar Association committee responsible for the initial study of Revised Article 9 in Colorado and participated in the process that led to the law's enactment. Professor Travers is a graduate of Grinnell College (B.A. 1957) and Harvard Law School (LL.B. 1962).
