Ulnar Nerve Decompression at the Elbow; A Technical Point

Ronald J. Neimkin, MD, Asheville , NC

Barry P. Simmons, M.D. reviewed ulnar nerve decompression at the elbow. He stated if recurrent subluxation occurred after the decompression, an anterior transposition should be performed. A fascial flap will keep the ulnar nerve posterior to the epicondyle and therefore, anterior transposition will not need to be performed.
