How do biomechanical and muscular differences between
men and women impact response to exercise? What have we learned
about the effects of sports and exercise on women's health? This
important new work explores the impact of training on fitness levels,
general health, and quality of life for women of all ages.
Risks of injury and other adverse effects are evaluated.
