Self-Assessment in MOC™: Credits earned by completing the 2008 OSAE - Scored and Recorded together with either OKU 9 or OKU 1-9 on CD-ROM can help you earn a maximum of up to 70 AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credits™ (of which 20 can be applied toward the Scored and Recorded self-assessment requirement mandated by the ABOS Maintenance of Certification (MOC™) process). All 70 credits will count toward the CME credit requirement.
If you choose to take the 2008 OSAE - Scored and Recorded without OKU 9 or OKU 1-9 on CD-ROM, you can still earn a maximum of up to 20 AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credits™ (all of which can be applied toward the Scored and Recorded self-assessment requirement mandated by the ABOS Maintenance of Certification process). All 20 credits will also count toward the CME credit requirement.
ACCME Accreditation: AAOS is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. AAOS designates certain OKU products as educational activities for a specific maximum of AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in each activity.
