In exchange for a submission of 20 ChemTracts-in-Brief articles, we will supply one round-trip ticket to an ACS meeting to one of your students. The ticket will be advanced booking, coach seat and the destinations must remain in the continental United States.
As described in the author guidelines, ChemTracts-in-Brief articles consist of two paragraphs (one to summarize and one to explain the significance of the article) and a figure or two. While we welcome the opportunity for students to write the article summary, as the Expert, we would require your name to appear on the article with your student's name, as well as your input to the paragraph explaining the article's significance. We look forward to the possibility of working with you on this exciting project.
As always, we provide cash honorarium to our authors. Each article (condensation/commentary, group highlight or review) submitted in excess of the two required per volume year is worth $100. We also offer $500 per feature article. Please note that all feature article topics need to be approved by Organic Chemistry Managing Editor Jeff Press (jpressorxn@aol.com) or Inorganic Chemistry Managing Editor Pradip Mascharak (pradip@chemistry.ucsc.edu) prior to submission.
