Agreement Brings Together One of
the Country's Largest Orthopaedic Associations and a Leading Medical Publisher
to Publish One of Orthopaedics Most Respected Peer-Review Publications. BALTIMORE,
MDNov 26, 2002 -- Data Trace Publishing Company, a leading Scientific, Medical
and Legal publisher, recently announced a multi-year agreement with the Southern
Orthopaedic Association to be the exclusive publisher of the Journal of the
Southern Orthopaedic Association ("JSOA") for all of its members,
subscribers, and affiliate entities, including: the Alabama Orthopaedic Society,
the Florida Orthopaedic Society, the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association, the Mississippi
Orthopaedic Society, the Missouri State Orthopaedic Association, the North Carolina
Orthopaedic Association, the Tennessee Orthopaedic Society, the Clinical Orthopaedic
Society, the Piedmont OrthopaedicSociety, and the Eastern Orthopaedic Association.
JSOA is a quarterly medical Journal which includes only original
manuscripts. Features include editorials, special emphasis papers, primary articles,
feature articles, book reviews and case reports. Data Trace plans to redesign
the print version, offer CME credits, and launch an Online version of the Journal. Data Trace is a full-service
publishing, marketing, and information services company, with extensive experience

scientific medicine in the specialty of orthopaedic surgery. The corporation operates
exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes. Over 2000 orthopaedic
physicians are members of SOA. Active members reside in the states of Alabama,
Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri,
North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West
